One year ago, I started my journey as an Accounting Technician at
Brightshire Accountants. Having the privilege of working for the family
business and being able to develop from the vast knowledge Suzanne has on rural
accounting, I was excited to be assisting in developing a new approach to
accountancy.
A year later, I am even more convinced that Brightshire is for me, it is an amazing place to work. Brightshire has a culture, that is focused on team-work, encouraging both technical and interpersonal skills, and I have never had that dreaded Monday morning feeling. I have developed a strong understanding of all aspects of the rural and agricultural sector and continue to develop my technical accountancy skills.
I am so thankful that I am part of a forward-thinking, growing business and that we are now adding to our team, with most recently, Libby joining. I am finding it very rewarding helping train William and Libby as this in itself, is helping me in my own development.
I am also continuing with my studies to become a chartered accountant and I am excited with what prospects hold for me in the future.
The ethos of the practice is to be the trusted adviser, and I can say that over the last year it is clear to see, that our clients appreciate what we do for them. We focus on giving each client our time and experience and our approach is tailored to their own individual needs. Suzanne always says to us, we strive to be part of our client’s team helping them every step of the way and I definitely think we are achieving this. I am looking forward to the next 12 months working with our existing clients, helping to grow the business and continuing to develop my knowledge and experience.
